Our experience:
The girlfriends and I recently met up for some shopping and lunch on the square. We finished up early and rather than opting to head our separate ways, we decided to duck into Spencer’s.

This unassuming store front has a cool an eclectic vibe. The décor is minimal, but very warm and inviting. Despite it being 2:30 in the afternoon, most of the tables were filled and a kind gentleman moved to a seat at the bar along the window for us.
It was an especially cold January day and we were all looking for something to warm us up.

Orders are placed at the counter and your name is called when you drink/food is ready.
I’m generally not big on coffee places, since I don’t actually like the taste of coffee, however, I LOVE a good Chai Latte.

The girlfriends ordered a cappuccino and a latte. I opted for the smallest Chai Latte. We were impressed the moment we picked up our drink orders. They were gorgeous!

Pretty food is especially nice, but how did it taste, you ask? My, oh my, chai! It tasted incredible!  My Chai Latte was the perfect temperature, very warm, but not burn-your-lips hot. I do believe this will be a regular treat following any downtown shopping.

One of the girlfriends is a serious coffee coinsurer. She thoroughly savors and enjoys a great cup of coffee. After a very disappointing cup at lunch earlier, she remarked that this is how coffee should taste.

After being wowed by our drinks, I am anxious to return with the husband for lunch. I love a great cup of soup when it’s cold outside, and it’s going to be awhile before it warms up.

Reviewed: January 2013; will be visiting on a regular basis.
